Cranberry Pecan Brie Crostinis with Maple Sugar Glaze

I'm so excited to share with you one of the easiest and best tasting maple recipes I have found! These maple glaze brie crostinis are perfect as a quick appetizer for a girls night or side dish to pair with a main course. 

Ingredients

Crositinis
1 loaf Baguette Bread, thinly sliced
0.5-0.7 lb. wedge Brie Cheese, warmed up
½ cup pecans, chopped
½ cup craisins
¼ cup brown sugar, for sprinkling

Maple Sugar Glaze 
3 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
3 Tbsp. brown sugar

Directions

Slice Baguette into ½ slices.

MapleMade Simmer

In a medium sauce pan, combine 3 Tbsp. maple syrup and 3 Tbsp. brown sugar and bring to a boil. Simmer until foamy (about 1-2 minutes) and then set aside.

Brush baguette slices lightly with olive oil and place on a cookie sheet.

MapleMade Crostinis

Broil on HI until crostinis turn golden in color. Watch carefully! It only takes a couple minutes and you don’t want them to burn.

Place the Brie cheese on a microwave-safe plate and microwave until cheese begins to melt and is warmed all the way through. Then, spread some brie on each crostini.

Sprinkle some chopped pecans and craisins over the brie. For an even sweeter touch, sprinkle a little brown sugar over the tops of each crostini too.

Lastly, drizzle with the Maple Sugar Glaze. These crostinis are best enjoyed warm.
