We are so incredibly excited to announce that we have finally come out with our new maple syrup packaging… and a brand-new flavor, Spicy!
We have been working on this for a while – and we are so excited to finally get to share them with all of you.
We always knew that we wanted to come out with new maple syrup packaging. We wanted it to be unique and different, but warm and awe-inspiring. Something that stirred emotions in our customer's heart – but brought the look and feel of something new and innovative. We looked at so many different shapes and sizes our eyes went blurry.
Then one day – we thought of it. Taking the old tin cans that maple syrup used to be packaged in in the 60s and 70s and reinventing them into something sleek and modern. Voila! We had it!
So now that we had the packaging done… we wanted to come out with a brand-new flavor. Something off the wall but usable. We thought of spicy, and that was it. A couple of weeks of taste testing followed, and I wish I would have gotten it on camera. Josh and our team trying to figure out the perfect amount of Chile Peppers to infuse - it was something hilarious. I can tell you this – they didn’t get it right for a while, and we definitely didn’t have enough water to cool their mouths off to go around. Ha!
The last element of our maple syrup reboot was too perfect our real maple syrup itself. You see, real maple has a reputation of being runny – especially when it’s mass produced by the big guys for bigger stores. We wanted to fix that. After a bit of experimentation, we found out a way to boil our syrup so that it truly embodies farm stand syrup (the kind of syrup you can buy from a farm stand on the side of the road from a maple farmer in the North East). We call this syrup our “Thick & Rich” maple syrup.
We worked hard to not only bring you something delicious, but new and innovative. We truly hope you enjoy.
So, go ahead, and grab your tin can today - they are available here and on our company website www.parkersmaple.com! We have the traditional thick & rich in an 8 oz. (the perfect stocking stuffer), 16 oz. (a traditional size), and a 32 oz. (for those who need a bit more). The spicy comes in a 16 oz. as well.
